Well, 5 years of working in front of a damn computer has killed my eyes enough to a point where I've had to get glasses. I just got them today...but I must say I'm really glad. I can actually see stuff! All this detail that I forgot existed is once again visible!
Thank God for science and optomologists...

Yes, it's amazing once you get glasses how clear things look.

You should probably be thankful for both as both serve much needed purposes.
Optometrists are the guys you see when you need glasses.
Opthalmologists are the guys you see if you have suffered an eye injury and need surgery or other attention to correct the injury.
Still, you should be most thankful for the inventor of alcohol or as I like to call it, God's sweet nectar!
Thanks for the explanation. Agreed...God's sweet nectar is something we should all be thankful for.
