First Rocky Balboa and now John Rambo...this is awesome! Can't wait for this movie to come out...I hope it's a huge success.
What I don't understand though is why the trailer is so ridiculously violent? Does Rambo finally go ultra berserk? In the previous films, he never really did do all that he was capable of doing...in part 1 there was only 1 death and that came by accident when the guy fell out of the chopper. In parts 2 and 3 there were a lot more deaths, but they weren't nearly as gory as what they've shown in the trailer to part 4. Maybe Stallone is seeking to provide shock value to the audience. If that's his goal, then I think he's done it.
Regardless....I'm there....opening day baby!

I think the HGH has affected Sly's brain. You have to have some screws loose to consciously put that much gore into a 3 minute trailer.

Sly is a poor and desperate man trying to hold on to what's left of a dying career. The only thing he could do was resurrect the Rocky and Rambo characters only now they are more like charicatures. I did see Rocky Balboa and I have to say that the acting wasn't bad. However, the fight scenes were pretty embarrassing. It was like watching a trainwreck...horrible yet I couldn't take my eyes off of it.
I have also lost a lot of respect for Sly for his HGH abuse. He looks all swollen and bloated now.
I know Matar Alloo is probably crying now but just as Tony (Apollo Creed's trainer in Rocky's I-III) said to Apollo in trying to talk Apollo out of a rematch with Rocky in Rocky II, "It's all wrong for us, baby! Let it go! Let it go!
First of all, Wikipedia is not a credible source of information. Any dummy can post stuff on there and people take it as fact.
Secondly, who is this person talking about anyway? Rambo was born in 1991? He's much older than that.
I don't think it's so bad that Sly is taking HGH. It doesn't affect, you, me, or anyone else out there except for him and maybe those close to him. Yes, I was a bit disappointed to hear that he had HGH with him...but at least he's doing it right by having a BOAT LOAD of it (he had 48 vials worth when he was busted in Australia). But give him a break...he's 60 years old!
Not that I would ever condone the use of steroids, but I do think that there's a right way and a wrong way to take these kinds of drugs. If you take them the right way, you can probably live a long and overall pretty healthy life, but if you take then the wrong way, you die young. I think Sly knows what he's doing.
Your obvious obsession with Sly is affecting your brain too, slappy. "A right way" to take HGH??? What makes taking an artificial substance to alter your body's chemistry for the purpose of becoming freakishly muscular right? Drug's, dude. Plain and simple. It's wrong and stupid.
If Sly were to rob a bank to fund his movie, you'd probably be ok with that too.
What are you talking about Matar Alloo? Taking steroids and HGH the "right way" is okay?! Are you serious? Is your love for Sly that deep that you are willing to turn a blind eye to his drug abuse?
The only way I would condone the use of HGH is to inject it straight into my dong to make it even more GI-NORMOUS than it already is.

Just like anything else in life, there's a fine balance to maintain. If you smoke a cigarrette or drink a few beers or have a joint, big deal...it's probably not gonna hurt you. Similarly, if you take some steroids, I don't see how it can hurt you unless it's something that you end up abusing.
On the other hand, if you're smoking every day, drinking every day, or need weed like Ricky Williams, then you've obviously got a problem and you need help. If Sly is abusing HGH then it's wrong and stupid and he should stop. Still, it's his life and he can do what he wants. However, given his age, if he really has been abusing he probably would've died a long time ago much like the late Lyle Alzado.
You're right. Most things in moderation should not be worried about. But why would you take one steroid a week? When you do steroids and/or HGH, you have to take it everyday and follow a regiment.

You're right. People can do whatever they choose - including illegal activities. However, when they are caught, they should be prepared to pay the price. Stallone is participating in something that is illegal (unless you get a prescription).
Also, I don't think he was taking steroids when he was younger. Just recently, he has started looking different. His face/head look swollen/bloated.
Borrowing from a Geico Caveman commercial, we live in a society where individual egoes are at the forefront and nobody represents this better than Stallone. He can't let nature take its course and is willing to engage in illegal drugs to preserve what he had. Is he a hero? I say nay. Stallone is a sad and pathetic shell of a man. I pity him.

So going back to the whole steroids thing, the only thing that is truly troublesome to me is the possibility of young, stupid kids trying to mimic Stallone's usage of HGH. In this way, I think Stallone has let everyone down. He may or may not have young fans, but like any celebrity, there exists some level of responsibility and morals that they must maintain given the nature of their stardom across the globe. Obviously, celebirties don't often live up to that expectation (Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, etc.) If this starts a chain reaction of HGH abuse amongst young muscle bound meatheads, i.e. JKD using it for his dong, that would be a shame.

OK, now as far as I know, hormone treatment is legal in the U.S. The problem as I understand it for Sly is that he is abusing the stuff. So, it appears that he is not taking it in moderation.
Don't be fooled by JKD's daily injections of HGH into his dong. His boyfriend told me that all it has done is scrambled his brains and made his dork the size of single peanut. At least he can now use his thumb and forefinger to jerk off - he used to have to use a pair of tweezers.
